Christian Pulisic’s new Milan contract puts him level with the club’s top earners, and the Rossoneri are now turning their attention to extensions for Adrien Rabiot and Alphadjo Cissé.

According to Calciomercato.com, the bonuses in the American’s deal, which runs to 2031, are tied to both personal and team targets. Appearances, goals and assists all count, as do the side’s objectives, and they could take his base salary of €6.5m a year up to €10m. That puts Pulisic alongside Mike Maignan among Milan’s best-paid players, and Rabiot is expected to reach similar figures in his own new deal.

Milan target Rabiot and Cisse renewals after Pulisic deal

Niccolò Ceccarini, writing in his TMW editorial, via MilanNews, reports that Rabiot is next on the list after Pulisic. The France midfielder’s contract runs until June 2028, and Milan want to add two more years.

The club are also keen to tie down Cisse, who is expected to attract plenty of interest. He has seven goals this season, including a brace in Wednesday’s 4-2 defeat to Bologna.

Ceccarini adds that Milan are planning another major investment in attack next summer, and have been linked with Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi.

The 22-year-old, a boyhood Milan fan, scored a hat-trick against Inter at San Siro in the Champions League this month. Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Manchester United, Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are all following him.
