Nico Paz is proving Toni Kroos was completely right about him

Toni Kroos is often called a visionary by Real Madrid fans. On the pitch, he always made his intelligence known to others. His footballing IQ has always been ridiculously high, and fans could always tell by the way he acted on the pitch. He used to control games really well, and everything that Real Madrid did with the ball at their feet went through the German.

However, for fans who have been watching the club for a while and know of Kroos' greatness on an extensive basis, they already know that this also translates to how he is off the pitch. Kroos has always shared his opinions on football publicly. Whether it is in an interview or on his own podcast, Kroos loves talking about football and is obviously quite knowledgeable about it.

Toni Kroos talked about how great Nico Paz can be in 2023

All the way back in 2023, Kroos talked about Nico Paz's brilliance and said just how good he is going to be at some point in the future. Having trained with him multiple times - whenever the Argentine starlet was asked to join first-team training - Kroos was able to see first-hand what the player was capable of.

Even back then, if you watch Castilla games or even training sessions, you could tell Paz was not just any other hyped academy product. His IQ and talent were well beyond his age, and he made sure everyone saw what he was able to produce on a regular basis.

At that young age, Paz was able to easily become Real Madrid Castilla's best player, and was also called up to multiple games for the first team. The Argentine also scored the winner against Napoli in the Champions League - marking his only goal for the senior team so far.

It wasn't just one time that Kroos talked about Paz in such manner - he spoke about how good he thinks Paz can be on more than one occasion, and he must feel greatly about how the player is now turning out to be.

Paz has been exceptional for Como in their Champions League run so far, and even before that, was their best player by some distance.

He has been able to build a career that everyone is impressed with, and it also gives fans insight into how well Kroos knows ball. There's a lot more that Paz is going to want to achieve, but it is so good to see him develop this way.
