Journalist reveals figures of AC Milan’s upcoming deal with Adidas from 2028
More details have emerged regarding the upcoming deal between AC Milan and Adidas, which will see the latter take over from PUMA.
The news broke after a report from Footy Headlines – a website specialising in kit leaks and technical partnerships – claimed last month that Adidas are reportedly ready to announce a major new deal with an Italian club.
Then, Calcio e Finanza confirmed that this mystery club is likely to be Milan, while other sources jumped on it too. It would be a fourth spell with the Rossoneri for the German company, with the most recent link being for 20 years before PUMA took over. Their deal expires in 2028.
AC Milan x Adidas: The figures
According to journalist Lorenzo Lollo, the agreement between Milan and Adidas will indeed begin from the 2028-29 season and is expected to be worth around €30m per year for the club.
It is an amount that matches the deal Inter have with Nike, but remains below the €46m that Juventus get from Adidas. It should be noted that the latter was signed during the height of the Cristiano Ronalo era.
That obviously gave the Bianconeri a bit of extra marketing leverage but that deal expires in 2027, and Juventus have already signed a reduced renewal at €40.8m per season. Milan will get a bit more than what they currently do from PUMA, which is €25.2m.
