The rugby supporter is not typically an average person, hence why the average person is priced out of international matches. Just had a look myself. WTF cheapest tickets on Ticketmaster are at 136 Euro, genuine disgrace. Hard to be proud of the team when the union thinks that’s acceptable. Hope they remain empty as them not selling is the only thing that will drill the point home. Evil, greedy horrible people, I wonder will the players even notice or just toe the party line. Maybe Barry Murphy can ask them on the next IRFU Podcast he does inside the camp…. South Africa game was like 300€ a ticket. Mental money. I spent less to go stay away in Glasgow and watch a Munster game. But it sold out in like two hours so it’ll only get worse. 2013 I got tickets on the halfway line for the New Zealand game on ticketmaster. Didn’t even have to sign on early. Jsut got them in the middle of the day. Incredible how demand and prices have changed.
