A Norwegian league match came close to disaster when part of the stand holding the away supporters collapsed, forcing the game to be halted.

According to "Foot Mercato", Norway's title race is going to the wire. Just five rounds remain, with Viking Stavanger and Bodo/Glimt locked together on 59 points.

Viking take on KFUM Oslo this evening. Bodo/Glimt, meanwhile, faced Tromso IL in a clash between two sides from the north of the country.

The score sat at 0-0 shortly before half-time when the match was stopped.

Part of the away supporters' stand at the Aspmyra stadium had collapsed, with a number of Bodo/Glimt fans among those caught up in it.

Both teams headed back to the dressing rooms and the fans left the stands. Rescue teams are now at the scene.

For now, no one has confirmed the fallout from the incident, nor whether any supporters have been injured.
