With each passing week, doubts about where Francesco Camarda will end the season are continuing to grow.

Calciomercato.com begin a report by stating that nothing has changed regarding the faith that Gerry Cardinale and Ruben Amorim have in Camarda. The Rossoneri owner was one of the key architects of last summer’s contract renewal until 2031, with an option for another season.

There’s a strong belief that the 18-year-old can become increasingly important to the club in the years to come, but the present reality is different and more complex. He needs to play more regularly, yet opportunities have been few and far between.

A new loan?

Amorim believes in Camarda, but he’s only played him four times in the league for a total of 36 minutes, and once in the Europa League against Salzburg, giving him a start before replacing him in the 60th minute.

Camarda needs to play, but at Milan, the mission is bordering on the impossible, given his current fitness and the presence of Goncalo Ramos. This is why the possibility of a loan move during the winter window has been gaining momentum in recent hours.

Amorim is taking a small step back and could give the green light to the deal, provided the Rossoneri do not sanction any kind of formula that could see it become permanent. Camarda needs minutes, consistency, responsibility and the room to make mistakes.

These elements, for such a young striker, can make the difference between a progressive growth path and a season spent waiting for sporadic opportunities. Where could he end up? Among the options, Serie B seems the most likely, as it would guarantee Camarda a greater chance of playing regularly.

The teenager was close to joining Sampdoria last summer, and his interest remains strong. Pisa, Benevento and Empoli are also interested. The decision will be made in conjunction with the player and his entourage, with a view to being Serie A-ready in 2027-28.
