(Video): Mighty PSG put Champions League rivals on notice with 6-0 demolition

PSG are cruising through the Champions League this season, earning their biggest victory of the season last night.

The last few years have seen PSG starting their season pretty slowly, especially in the Champions League, before finding their stride after Christmas.

Well Europe should be pretty worried night now – this time they’re not even giving their rivals a head start on the season. The Parisians have hit something close to top gear before we’re halfway through November.

Last night’s demolition of Villarreal in the Champions League was a masterclass from Luis Enrique’s team.

Joao Neves opened the scoring with a clever volley from close range at a set piece. Desire Doue had soon added the second with a calm finish after some horrible defending.

Things soon got out of hand – it was 4-0 after just 17 minutes, after more shabby defending gave Senny Mayulu and Fabian Ruiz the chance to add more goals.

Even then the team didn’t sit back. Luis Enrique doesn’t accept it. Ruiz grabbed another after half time, and young full back David Boly scored his first goal for the club to finish things off.
