Graham Alexander's Bradford side enter the weekend with only 100 per-cent record in League One
  • Bradford City are the only team to have won their first two games; Wigan are the only side without a point

  • Pre-season title favourites Leicester have just one point from six so far

  • Oxford United and Reading were due to meet at the Kassam Stadium but will now play on September 8

Bradford City are the early pacesetters in League One as the only side to have bagged maximum points from two games, with the Bantams yet to concede a goal.

Many pundits believed Leicester could be the standout side in the third tier, but Russell Martin sees his side with just one point from two games ahead of a tricky trip to MK Dons.

Blackpool vs Peterborough – Saturday August 29 (12.30pm)

Luke Williams saw Peterborough fire five past Watford in the EFL Cup in midweek following a 2-1 win over Mansfield last weekend. Blackpool are unbeaten in the league but exited the cup conceding four against Lincoln.

Score prediction: Blackpool 2-2 Peterborough (15/2 with LiveScore Bet)

MK Dons vs Leicester – Saturday August 29 (12.30pm)

Winless in two league games Leicester may be, but boss Martin would have taken positives from the EFL Cup reverse at Ipswich in midweek and his Foxes can record a win against promoted MK Dons, who have scored in both their draws so far.

Score prediction: MK Dons 1-2 Leicester (6/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Cambridge vs Huddersfield – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

Cambridge were in midweek EFL Cup action against Millwall, losing 1-0, while Huddersfield enjoyed some time off and that may serve the Terriers well at a ground where they won 4-0 last season.

Score prediction: Cambridge 0-2 Huddersfield (8/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Leyton Orient vs Barnsley – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

Barnsley have failed to score in their league games but did beat League Two side Crewe 3-2 in the EFL Cup in midweek, while Orient got a win over Wigan last weekend before ousting Walsall on penalties in midweek.

The last four meetings of these clubs have produced 20 goals.

Score prediction: Leyton Orient 3-2 Barnsley (13/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Notts County vs Burton Albion – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

Burton Albion were shock winners at 10-man Leicester last time while Notts County have endured stalemates with the Foxes and Luton so far after coming up from League Two.

They had an xG figure of 2.28 here against Leicester and can get their first win.

Score prediction: Notts County 2-0 Burton Albion (13/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Plymouth vs Bradford – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

Bradford built their momentum as they knocked Burnley out of the EFL Cup on penalties in midweek and the Bantams are yet to concede in four games this term. They were 1-0 winners here last season and can leave Argyle still waiting for a win.

Score prediction: Plymouth 0-1 Bradford (13/2 with LiveScore Bet)

Sheffield Wednesday vs Bromley – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

League Two winners in May, Bromley have taken four points from six upped in grade, but may find life tough against Sheffield Wednesday side who should have taken something against Bradford here last weekend.

Score prediction: Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Bromley (6/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Stevenage vs Doncaster – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

Winning has proved elusive for both of these sides in the league and both made EFL Cup exits in midweek. Both meetings ended level last season, with their last five clashes yielding just five goals.

Score prediction: Stevenage 0-0 Doncaster (6/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Stockport County vs Wycombe – Saturday August 29 (3pm)

Wycombe have drawn their opening two games but they may struggle to stay unbeaten now against a home side that have scored 10 goals in their last three competitive fixtures and are going for four wins in a row against the Chairboys.

Score prediction: Stockport County 3-1 Wycombe (13/2 with LiveScore Bet)

AFC Wimbledon vs Wigan – Sunday August 30 (2pm)

Only Wigan were below Wimbledon after two games and the hosts are yet to score in the league. The Latics are unbeaten in four visits to Plough Lane.

Score prediction: AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Wigan (5/1 with LiveScore Bet)

Mansfield vs Luton – Sunday August 30 (3pm)

Luton have scored six goals in two league games and the Hatters can condemn Mansfield to a fourth defeat in five competitive games.

Score prediction: Mansfield 1-2 Luton (23/4 with LiveScore Bet)
