Arsenal welcome Ligue 1 side Lille to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as they return to Champions League action.

The Gunners came from behind to defeat Leeds United 2-1 in their last outing as quickfire goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimarães overturned a deficit set by James Justin's second-half strike.

Lille also returned to winning ways last time out with a 1-0 victory over 10-man Le Havre with Dilane Bakwa's early opening goal being enough to see out the win with Ayumu Seko seeing red after 61 minutes.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping his side can build on Saturday's three points and their 1-0 win at Napoli to secure their second triumph of the league phase while Lille are searching for their first European victory of the season after falling to Real Betis in their first match.

Here's our preview of Arsenal's continental clash with Lille.

Arsenal team news

Mikel Arteta confirmed two fresh injury concerns in his pre-match press conference with Piero Hincapié and Martín Zubimendi both set to miss the clash with Lille after suffering issues in the warm-down following the win over Leeds.

Christos Tzolis and William Saliba will also be absent as they continue their respective recoveries, but there was a boost for the latter after it was revealed he was back on the grass in individual training ahead of tomorrow's match.

Viktor Gyökeres could be in line for a start following Kai Havertz's lacklustre performance at the weekend while Bruno Guimarães will surely come into midfield after scoring the winning goal off the bench last time out.

Predicted Arsenal lineup vs Lille: Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Ødegaard, Guimarães, Rice; Saka, Gyökeres, Eze

Lille team news

Ethan Mbappé will be absent as he nurses an ankle injury as well as serves a suspension following his red card in the defeat to Real Betis. He will be joined on the sideline by Tiago Santos, Romain Perraud and Hamza Igamane.

Nathan Ngoy and Basar Onal were both omitted from the squad against Le Havre, but the former will likely come back in to the side after being given a rest.

Olivier Giroud will have his eye on making an impact against his former side, but he will have to do so off the bench as Ayase Ueda replaces him in attack.

Predicted Lille lineup vs Arsenal: Ozer; Ngoy, Nianzou, Alexsandro, Verdonk; Andre, Bentaleb; Bakwa, Haraldsson, Perrin; Ueda

Arsenal vs Lille score prediction

With this being one of Arsenal's more favourable ties of the Champions League league phase, they should fancy themselves of taking a commanding victory on Tuesday night.

The Gunners boast an impressive record against French clubs, with 18 wins from 35 meetings, and they will be hoping to continue that trend in their clash with Lille.

Giroud and the visitors' attack will look to cause a problem or two so nothing will be easy for Arteta's side, but they should see this game out pretty simply.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Lille
