Real Madrid need Michael Olise far more than they need Vinícius Júnior right now
Vinicius Junior has not performed well for Real Madrid this season. It is very difficult to even think of selling the player after the renewal of his contract earlier in the summer, even without the contract extension. Just talking about selling Vinicius Junior is difficult because of the amount of stuff that he has done for Real Madrid, just the legacy that he has at the club.
Despite that, it is a business, at the end of the day, Real Madrid need to think about what to do with Vinícius Junior if this keeps on going. To be clear, this is not an article about the player's immediate sale. It is about what Real Madrid should do if this problem, this rut that Vinícius Junior is in, does not go away all season long.
Michael Olise provides a long-term solution to Real Madrid's right-wing
Is it worth keeping him around next season in hopes of him improving as a player, or would it be better to cash in and try to sign a player like Michael Olise who, although very difficult to attain, would easily fix Real Madrid's biggest flaw?
Despite signing Yan Diomande this season, Real Madrid's right wing still consists of a midfielder. Arda Guler is still playing in that position, and it does not seem like that will change this season. However, Diomande playing as well as he is on the left can only mean that Real Madrid should go into the market and sign a right winger instead of a left winger in the event of them selling Vinícius Junior next season.
It is very difficult to see a sale for Vinícius Junior happening, but if it is to happen, Olise would be the best player to bring in.
Yan Diomande, Kylian Mbappe and Michael Olise would be the perfect trio
Olise's creativity from the right wing makes him an incredibly dangerous player. He is, without a doubt, a top two right winger in the world, and his link-up with Kylian Mbappe is absolutely fantastic.
Diomande, Mbappe, and Olise are a trio that will work really well because of their complementary qualities as football players.
We've already seen Diomande and Mbappe, and Olise and Mbappe, work well together. All three of these players should be able to do well in the scenario of Vinicius Junior being sold to another club.
As said before, this might not even happen, but if it does, this sale might not even happen, and it is not even being reported by any news outlet. In case it does, Real Madrid should look at Olise as the perfect player to bring in to fix Real Madrid's attack once and for all.
