Atletico Madrid have won 10 straight home games in all competitions
Barcelona have scored 22 goals in their last six LaLiga matches
Real Madrid have drawn three of their last four LaLiga away games
Barcelona have opened up a four-point lead over Real Madrid as attention turns to Matchday 16 in LaLiga.
The Catalans will aim to stretch that gap to seven points at home to Osasuna on Saturday, before Los Blancos, who lost 2-1 at home to Manchester City in the Champions League in midweek, look to regain the winning thread at Alaves on Sunday.
Real Sociedad vs Girona (8pm Friday)
Real Sociedad have an excellent chance to bounce back from consecutive losses when they host Girona. The visitors are winless on the road, but had scored in seven straight league matches prior to last week's 3-0 loss at Elche.
Score prediction: Real Sociedad 2-1 Girona
Atletico Madrid vs Valencia (1pm Saturday)
Atletico Madrid have slipped off the pace following back-to-back losses, but Valencia are unlikely to cause them too many issues. Diego Simeone's men have won their last seven at home in Spain's top flight.
Score prediction: Atletico Madrid 2-0 Valencia
Mallorca vs Elche (3.15pm Saturday)
Mallorca could be on course for a third straight draw. The Balearic Islanders tend to keep it tight at home and that should enable Elche, who have drawn with Real Sociedad and Real Madrid in recent weeks, to claim a point.
Score prediction: Mallorca 1-1 Elche
Barcelona vs Osasuna (5.30pm Saturday)
Free-scoring Barcelona will be in no mood to relinquish their lead and can put Osasuna to the sword. Barca have won all eight LaLiga home matches, scoring 3.25 goals per game in that period. Expect another show of power from Hansi Flick's men.
Score prediction: Barcelona 4-1 Osasuna
Getafe vs Espanyol (8pm Saturday)
Getafe have found only Madrid's big two too strong at the Coliseum and can bag three points against Espanyol. The visitors are flying high in fifth, but 19 of their 27 points came at home.
Score prediction: Getafe 2-1 Espanyol
Sevilla vs Real Oviedo (1pm Sunday)
Sevilla continue to struggle, but Real Oviedo look poorly equipped to take advantage. The Asturian outfit are winless since September and have failed to score in their last two road matches.
Score prediction: Sevilla 1-0 Real Oviedo
Celta Vigo vs Athletic Bilbao (3.15pm Sunday)
Celta Vigo stunned Real Madrid at the Bernabeu last week and could be set for another win over Athletic Bilbao, who have won just twice on the road in Spain this season and have blanked on four occasions.
Score prediction: Celta Vigo 1-0 Athletic Bilbao
Levante vs Villarreal (5.30pm Sunday)
Villarreal are just five points off top spot and should have no problem accounting for lowly Levante. The hosts have lost five straight matches, while the Yellow Submarine have won their last six in the league.
Score prediction: Levante 0-2 Villarreal
Alaves vs Real Madrid (8pm Sunday)
Pressure is mounting on Xabi Alonso and a trip to Alaves might not provide him with the tonic he so dearly needs. The stubborn hosts have avoided defeat in six of eight home matches this term and can keep Los Blancos at bay.
Score prediction: Alaves 1-1 Real Madrid
Rayo Vallecano vs Real Betis (8pm Monday)
Real Betis are unbeaten on their LaLiga travels and look the likelier winners against Rayo Vallecano. The visitors are used to juggling domestic and European commitments, while Rayo are winless in five and have been struggling as the fixtures have mounted up.
Score prediction: Rayo Vallecano 1-2 Real Betis
