A well-drilled Real Madrid unit proved to be too much for Racing Club, as they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat against the Los Blancos.

This victory did not shake the La Liga table in any way whatsoever, as Madrid remain 3rd, but it was yet another statement to Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona that the men in white are not far behind.

With that being said, this is how the Real Madrid players fared against Racing Club.

Player ratings

Thibaut Courtois – 7.0/10

A rather quiet game for the Belgian, but he would not be complaining. Had to make only 1 save throughout the match and also kept a clean sheet.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7.0/10

Was not actively involved on the attacking front but did deliver two key passes inside the box which unfortunately were not converted. Won 2/3 duels, made 2 interceptions and 3 recoveries.

Ibrahima Konate – 7.0/10

Another calm and composed performance from the Frenchman. Completed 92% of his passes, made 3 recoveries and won his only duel of the match.

Dean Huijsen – 7.5/10

The Spaniard was involved in as many as 15 defensive contributions, which included 7 clearances, 2 interceptions, 4 shots blocked and won 3/5 duels. A solid day at the office.

Marc Cucurella – 7.0/10

Continued his form from the last match, but tonight was not as tough. Had a 100% success rate as far as winning his tackles is concerned, along with 6 recoveries and 4 interceptions.

Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10

Not the best of games, and he looked like a shadow of himself. His presence on the pitch was not felt as much and luckily did not cost the Los Blancos in any way.

Aurelien Tchouameni – 7.0/10

Carried his form from the Barcelona match and did his job nicely. Luckily got away from conceding a penalty.

Arda Guler – 9/10

We are running out of words to describe his weekly performances. Absolutely sensational outing yet again for the 21-year-old. Created a couple of big chances, threaded 6 key passes, including an assist for Jude Bellingham.

Jude Bellingham – 8.5/10

The Englishman is making it a habit to perform week in, week out. Hard to point out a bad performance he has had this season. Scored a deserved goal tonight; unlucky not to score more. Completed 4/5 dribbles and 6 defensive actions as well.

Yan Diomande – 8.0/10

It would not be wrong to say that Florentino Perez splashed 140 million on arguably the best young talent in the world – Diomande is proving it. Scored another screamer tonight and easily bypassed his marker on multiple occasions.

Kylian Mbappe – 8.0/10

Earned a penalty, scored it and was unlucky not to have at least a brace for the second game running. Mbappe has now scored against every La Liga club he has played against in Real Madrid colours.

Substitutes

Brahim Diaz – 6.0/10

Did not have a significant impact on the outcome of the match. Had a shot on goal and completed 83% of his passes.

Eduardo Camavinga – 6.0/10

Had merely 11 touches during his 13-minute cameo. Won 2/3 duels and made 1 key pass.

Endrick – N/A

Played 11 minutes but could only have 4 touches; hence, not enough to warrant a rating.
