Cesc Fabregas' Como claimed one of the standout results in Serie A on the opening weekend
  • Reigning champions Napoli opened the new season with a 2-0 win at Sassuolo

  • Inter Milan delivered a five-star performance against Torino in their opener

  • Como and Cremonese were eye-catching winners on the opening weekend

Matchday two of the new Serie A season takes place this weekend, with reigning champions Napoli hosting Cagliari, Inter Milan, fresh from thrashing Torino 5-0, entertaining Udinese, and highly-rated Como visiting Bologna.

Here we pick out a correct-score selection for all 10 Serie A games across what is set to be an action-packed weekend in the Italian top flight.

Cremonese vs Sassuolo (Friday, 5.30pm)

Cremonese produced the biggest shock of the opening round of fixtures, beating AC Milan 2-1, but this may be a lower-key affair against fellow newly promoted outfit Sassuolo.

Score prediction: Cremonese 1-1 Sassuolo

Lecce vs AC Milan (Friday, 7.45pm)

AC Milan need to bounce back after their shock defeat to Cremonese in their first game of the new season and they are fancied to do so at Lecce, who failed to have a shot on target against Genoa last weekend.

Score prediction: Lecce 0-2 Milan

Bologna vs Como (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Como beat Lazio in their opening game of the season and look set to pose a stern challenge to Bologna, who lost their opener.

Score prediction: Bologna 1-2 Como

Parma vs Atalanta (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Atalanta have won five of their last seven away games without conceding and should be able to do so once more against a Parma side that lost 2-0 to Juventus last weekend.

Score prediction: Parma 0-1 Atalanta

Napoli vs Cagliari (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Napoli picked up where they left off with a 2-0 win over Sassuolo in their opening game and are fancied for another comfortable success against Cagliari, who were dismal away from home last season

Score prediction: Napoli 3-0 Cagliari

Pisa vs Roma (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Roma are set to be one of the most interesting teams in Serie A under Gian Piero Gasperini  and were 1-0 winners over Bologna last week. They could see off Pisa without conceding, the hosts only managed two shots on target last weekend.

Score prediction: Pisa 0-2 Roma

Torino vs Fiorentina (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Torino were smashed 5-0 by Inter Milan in their opening game and may slip to another defeat. Fiorentina could win a game in which both teams score.

Score prediction: Torino 1-2 Fiorentina

Genoa vs Juventus (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Juventus looked comfortable in their 2-0 win over Parma last weekend and they should be able to pick up another three points against Genoa.

Score prediction: Genoa 1-2 Juventus

Inter vs Udinese (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Inter put five past Torino in their opening game of the season and could record another high-scoring home win against Udinese, who shared a point with Verona in their opener.

Score prediction: Inter 3-1 Udinese

Lazio vs Verona (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Lazio were beaten 2-0 by Como last weekend and they may have to settle for a draw against Verona, who picked up an away point against Udinese and could build on that.

Score prediction: Lazio 1-1 Verona
