PSV were unfortunate to lose 2-1 to Club Brugge in the Champions League group stage on Wednesday. Peter Bosz and his team had beaten FC Porto 1-0 a few weeks earlier.Voetbalzone rates the Eindhoven side's starters, as usual.

Matej Kovar - 7.5

Sergiño Dest - 6.5

Dest raced through alone towards Yann Sommer with an early chance to make it 1-0, but the Swiss goalkeeper produced a fine save. Ten minutes before half-time, Brugge's experienced keeper denied him again. The right-back remained a threat for PSV, but his side lost.

Lutsharel Geertruida - 7

Armando Obispo - 5.5

Filip Kostic - 5

Mauro Júnior - 6

Kodai Sano - 7.5

Guus Til - 6

Ivan Perisic - 6

Against his former club, the Croatian veteran delivered plenty of crosses as PSV pushed hard for the opener. None produced a goal. Instead, Club Brugge went into the dressing room ahead at half-time.

Sven Mijnans - 5

The makeshift striker could not prevent Nicolò Tresoldi from heading in the opener from a cross. Mijnans came close to equalising at the other end immediately afterwards. He struggled against Brugge's physically strong defenders, though he fared better after the break. A mistake by Mijnans with a backheel then led to Carlos Forbs scoring the winner on the counter-attack.

Ruben van Bommel - 6.5

Van Bommel's bursts of pace left his marker Kyriani Sabbe with no chance in a sprint. The winger later headed against the bar, although the referee had called play back for a foul. After the break, Van Bommel saw a header cleared off the line before Ricardo Pepi replaced him.
