Stoke City trio closing in on returns to action

Stoke City boss Mark Robins is hopeful Svante Ingelsson, Sam Gallagher and Aaron Cresswell are all close to returning to action.

The trio have been sidelined of late but Robins says each is nearing a comeback and believes Gallagher has every chance of featuring again before the November international break.

“Yes, I’m very hopeful,” Robins said.

“[Those three] are all very, very close.”

Asked whether Gallagher could return before the international break, Robins added: “Yes, every chance.”
