QPR forward Alfie Lloyd is facing at least a couple of months on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Southampton.

Lloyd was forced off after coming on as a substitute at St Mary’s and head coach Julien Stephan has confirmed the problem is expected to keep him out until at least the end of the year.

“It’s a long-term injury,” Stephan said.

“It will probably be difficult for him to come back before the end of the year.”

Stephan will also be without Jake Clarke-Salter for Tuesday’s home game against Burnley.

The defender had been a doubt for the trip to Southampton and was named among the substitutes.

Nicolas Madsen, Rumarn Burrell and Tariq Lamptey, meanwhile, are all expected to be back later in November, after the end of the international break.
