Neil hoping to have another Millwall star back shortly following win over Derby

Millwall boss Alex Neil expects Tairyk Arconte to return to training next week.

Arconte has missed the last four games but Neil says the forward could be available for next Saturday’s clash with West Brom.

“He’s doing fine,” Neil told Southwark News after the win over Derby.

“He’ll be back at some point this week. Probably more the West Brom game than the Birmingham game.”

Neil is also hopeful Lukas Jensen and Casper De Norre will be close to returning around the international break in November.

“Once we get to an international break, I think Lukas Jensen won’t be far away, and Casper won’t be far away,” he said.

“So the last one will probably be Mathis Servais, I think.”

Neil also spoke passionately about the pressure of trying to deliver results for Millwall after his side’s big victory.

“I live and breathe what I do at this club, and everything I do is for us to win games,” he said.

“My family doesn’t stay here. I literally dedicate my life to try to win games for us. That’s what I do.

“So then when people start to question me, as you can imagine, I ain’t best pleased. But I understand.

“For me, I just want to try and win games for the club. That’s literally it.”
