Mousinho gives updates on Portsmouth duo’s injuries

Portsmouth boss John Mousinho says Marko Milovanovic will miss Saturday’s game against Stoke City after suffering a quad injury in the win over Swansea.

The striker was forced off in Tuesday’s 3-1 victory and is due to undergo a scan to determine the extent of the issue.

“Marko is going to have a scan tomorrow so we will find out more,” Mousinho told the Portsmouth News.

“I don’t know how long he could be out. We won’t see him this weekend and then we’ll see how that settles down.

“It doesn’t look great when a player pulls up like that but you never know.

“He was okay this morning but I think the scan will tell everything. It was his quad.”

Iyad Mohamed was also forced off against Swansea, though Mousinho says his issue is not expected to be serious.

“Exactly the same,” he said when asked whether Mohamed would also be assessed.

“I don’t think Iyad’s is anywhere near as severe as Marko’s and so we’ll see what the results are there.”
