Injury doubts for Birmingham City duo
Birmingham City boss Chris Davies says James Beadle is a doubt for this week’s games against Millwall and Swansea after picking up an injury in the win over Lincoln City.
The goalkeeper was forced off at half-time on Saturday and Davies admits he cannot yet guarantee his availability.
“James took a knock and we’ll see how he is in the coming days,” Davies told the Birmingham Mail.
“I can’t say for sure. If he’s not available then Ryan is a more than able goalkeeper for us. We’ll see with James.”
Dael Fry also remains a doubt after missing the Lincoln game through illness.
“He’s been unwell so he’s building himself up step by step,” Davies said.
“Whether the game comes around too quickly for him, possibly with everything that he’s been through. He’s definitely on the mend.”
Paik Seung-Ho could return to the squad this week, meanwhile.
“I think Paik has got a chance of getting involved at some point,” Davies added.
“Maybe this week. It’s a bit touch and go. Lund won’t be. Paik is getting there.”
