Derby County boss John Eustace admits he does not know whether he will still be in charge for Friday’s game against Bolton following his side’s 4-0 defeat to Norwich.

The Rams suffered another heavy defeat as pressure continues to mount on Eustace, whose side sit second from bottom of the Championship.

Eustace acknowledged that recent results have been unacceptable and admitted his future at the club is uncertain, but insisted he has no intention of giving up.

“We’ll have to wait and see,” he said when asked whether he would still be in charge for Friday’s game.

“The club’s much bigger than me. I’ve said that all the great work that we’ve done over the last 15/16 months is something that I’ve been very proud of.

“It’s not easy to come to this football club and do what we did with the best finish in seven years and the progression of the assets we’ve created here.

“Not to continue that throughout the summer and up to now has been tough and listen it is football. It is an industry where it’s about results, and to lose 4-0 at home after losing 4-1 at the weekend is not what we want, and it’s not acceptable.”
