Burnley boost as defender makes return to training
Jordan Beyer has made a surprise return to Burnley training after almost three years out through injury.
The defender has endured a lengthy rehabilitation but is now back working with the first team as he continues to build towards a full return.
Burnley boss Nicky Hayen says Beyer is making steady progress, although he does not expect him to be back to 100 per cent until around January.
“So Jordan came back after a long rehab,” Hayen said.
“But step by step, he’s making progress.
“I think it still takes until January before he’s back 100 per cent, but, of course, if you can do it in an environment where you like to be and with the players around you, it’s also better.
“The way how he trains is actually quite okay, but he still has a lot of work.”
