Crystal Palace vs Zrinjski predictions: Eagles to seal the deal at Selhurst Park

It has been a tough last few months for Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner.

Crystal Palace finally earned just their second Premier League victory of 2026 at the weekend, securing a 1-0 victory at home to rock-bottom Wolves.

That result left the Eagles 13th in the standings after a poor run of form left them looking nervously over their shoulders at the relegation zone.

Zrinjski were more than a match for their more established opponents last week in Bosnia and they will take great confidence from that 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Since then, they drew their most recent domestic fixture, which leaves them trailing leaders Borac by six points in the Bosnian top-flight.

Team news

Eagles boss Oliver Glasner will go into this clash without the services of several first-team players as Cheick Doucoure, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jefferson Lerma are all absent until the middle of March at the earliest.

Striker Eddie Nketiah will be on the sidelines for longer, with a muscle injury keeping him out until April.

It remains to be seen whether Maxence Lacroix is available after he was subbed off in the first leg due to a muscle injury.

The away side will be missing Darick Kobie Morris, Toma Palic and Antonio Ilic, with the trio all ineligible.

Nemanja Biliija, Slobodan Jakovljevic and Marin Ljubic missed the weekend action due to injury.

The stats

Last week was the third time Zrinjski had played against English opposition.

During the 2023/24 campaign, they played Aston Villa twice in the group stages of the Conference League, losing one and drawing the other.

The Bosnian side lost three of their six group stage matches this season, finishing the campaign in 23rd position.

Palace also won three of their six matches, drawing two others and sealed finish in 10th place.

Both teams have scored in seven of Palace's 11 fixtures in 2026 so far, while, for Zrinjski, both teams have found the back of the net in two of their previous three games.

January signing Jorgen Strand Larsen has scored twice already for Palace, with both of those goals coming against Burnley in the Premier League.

The Norwegian registered an assist last week against the Bosnians.

Prediction

The mood at Selhurst Park has not been good of late and the recent win over Wolves was certainly hard fought, so Glasner will be looking for a much improved display on Thursday evening.

Drawing the first leg was a missed opportunity for the Eagles, who should have put the tie to bed.

They should win this second leg comfortably, with former Wolves frontman Strand Larsen aiming to play a big part in the game and start justifying his £48m transfer fee.
