(Video): Chelsea’s three superb second half goals trounce Bournemouth
Chelsea fired three goals past Bournemouth in the second half at Stamford Bridge today, and some of them were beauties.
Chelsea blew Bournemouth away 5-1 at Stamford Bridge today to mark their return from a long international break with a bang.
The Blues were 2-0 up after two minutes and held that lead until half time. By full time it was 5-1.

Joao Pedro got the party started after the break, finishing neatly from a Pedro Neto cut back, an attack which was started by a brilliant piece of play from young Josh Acheampong.

The Brazilian added another one shortly afterwards, this time turning in a Pep Chavarria cross from the left hand side.

The best was saved until last. Jordan Henderson scored a superb goal from outside the box just a minute into the game, but after 70 minutes he went one better, whipping in a brilliant free kick laid off to him by Cole Palmer.

In other news…
The two goals in the first half were pretty excellent too, with Henderson and Rogers getting their first each.
Reece James isn’t in the squad today because he picked up an injury in training yesterday, according to his manager.
