Prediction
Both Maresca and Porto boss Francesco Farioli are managers who like their teams to dominate the ball and that possession struggle means this Champions League clash is unlikely to be the most exciting on the schedule.
Porto have picked up where they left off, winning all six of their games this season, and can frustrate their visitors enough to keep the scoring low.
With that in mind, pairing under 2.5 goals with both teams not to score is a sensible play.
Only one of the Dragons’ last seven games have seen both teams find the net and the low tempo this clash is set to be played at should see that trend continue.
City have splashed big on midfielders, bringing in Elliot Anderson, Enzo Fernandez and Ayyoub Bouaddi for huge fees, and they will be keen to get them all the ball as much as possible.
