After completing the league phase with wins over Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, Bodo/Glimt recorded another famous victory by beating Inter Milan 3-1 in the first leg of the pair's Champions League play-off.

The duo were level 1-1 at half-time, but last season's beaten finalists then conceded second-half strikes from Jens Hauge and Kasper Hogh.

Cristian Chivu's side won 2-0 at Lecce on Saturday, but the Norwegian league being out of season means Bodo had the weekend off and those fresh legs can ensure they are competitive at San Siro.

Team news

Chivu made seven changes for the win at Lecce and will have Nicolo Barrella available after he served a suspension at the Stadio Via del mare.

The main talking point in the build-up is likely to be the availability of Nerazzurri talisman Lautaro Martinez's calf injury.

Martinez limped off in last week's game at the Aspmyra Stadion and is a doubt for Tuesday's fixture.

Bodo have a full squad to select from and Kjetil Knutsen could stick with the team that won the opening leg.

The stats

Bodo/Glimt have won their last three Champions League games, beating City and Inter 3-1, and Atletico 2-1.

Inter's defeat in the Arctic Circle is their only loss in eight, the Serie A leaders having won the other seven.

Superlaget forward Kasper Hogh has scored four times in his team's recent winning run.

Both teams have scored and over 2.5 goals have been netted in six of Inter's last seven home games.

Three or more goals have been scored in Bodo/Glimt's last eight competitive fixtures.

Prediction

Before their recent winning run, Bodo/Glimt had also drawn 2-2 at Borussia Dortmund and, having come through qualifying, have scored in all five of their away games.

Inter have conceded in six of their last seven at home and Superlaget can get a goal to all but win the tie.

The Nerazzurri have it within them to record a victory on Tuesday.

However, their Norwegian visitors could deliver another famous performance to book their place in the last 16, where they would face either City or Sporting CP.
