Inter president: “Confidence in Malagò confirmed? I don’t talk about these things”

Beppe Marotta, president of Inter, spoke on the sidelines of the presentation of Alpha League, a Lega Calcio Serie A schools initiative, at Regione Lombardia.

Though he said little, Marotta's remarks revealed his thinking on the main issues of the past few hours.

After the home defeat to Bruges, he remained optimistic about the Champions League: "Optimistic despite Inter-Bruges? Optimism is part of my life", reports FcInter1908.

Lautaro Martinez's injury is a thigh flexor strain that will rule the Argentine out for a month. His response: "Injuries are part of the game".

Asked about football politics, he replied: "Has confidence in Malagò been confirmed? I don't talk about these things".
