Domestic football’s return delivered wall-to-wall entertainment across the weekend – but there’s no slowing down as we head into a jam-packed few days of midweek fixtures.

UK viewers can sink their teeth into a whole host of matches, starting with the culmination of Gameweek 6 in the Premier League this evening.

Then it’s time for continental clashes to take centre stage, as Champions League, Europa League and Conference League games dominate the schedule from Tuesday to Thursday.

That’s before we even get to a full slate of EFL Championship matches and the European qualifying play-offs for the 2027 Women’s World Cup.

You won’t want to miss a minute of these midweek encounters and – fortunately – you won’t have to, thanks to LiveScore’s handy Football On TV Today & This Week guide!

Read on to find out exactly when every game kicks off, as well as how to stay on top of all the action from the comfort of your sofa…

Standout Fixtures On UK TV This Week

It’s hard to look past the Champions League when it comes to this week’s TV highlights.

Europe’s elite club competition delivers in abundance once again, particularly on Wednesday when Roma host Real Madrid and heavyweights Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain go head-to-head.

That doesn’t mean Tuesday is short of first-class fixtures, though – far from it, as Atlético Madrid take on Manchester United and Barcelona head to the cauldron of Istanbul to face Galatasaray.

Elsewhere, England’s Lionesses are within touching distance of progressing to the next round of World Cup qualifying play-offs, but need to finish the job on home soil (Tuesday, 7.30pm BST) after securing a 3-1 lead over Greece in Crete.

What's On TV On Monday 12th October

There was drama in abundance across the Premier League weekend – not least at Anfield, where Manchester City blocked out a hostile atmosphere to win 3-0 against ten-man Liverpool.

But there’s still time for another serving of excitement, as Gameweek 6 prepares to conclude with Coventry City vs Newcastle United this evening (Monday, 8pm).

Frank Lampard’s Sky Blues will be looking to build on their first win of the campaign – at Nottingham Forest before the international break (1-0) – while their midtable visitors are searching for consistency after a mixed run of results.

The game is being shown on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, where pundits will also dissect the various talking points from England’s top flight.

What's On TV On Tuesday 13th October

It is difficult to know where to focus your attention on Tuesday, such is the array of tantalising televised encounters to feast your eyes on.

The aforementioned meeting between Atlético Madrid and Manchester United is arguably the pick of the bunch, though Arsenal’s home game against Ligue 1 outfit Lille (8pm BST) offers an alternative option when it comes to English clubs in Champions League action.

There are intriguing matches for the competition’s Serie A sides, too, as Inter take on Club Brugge at San Siro and Napoli face a possible banana skin away to Villarreal.

Meanwhile, five EFL Championship fixtures are being shown on Sky Sports+, including surprise table-toppers Swansea City making the potentially tricky trip to improving Millwall (7.45pm BST).

With all four home nations in Women’s World Cup qualifying action – including England on ITV4 at 7.30pm – viewers will have some tough choices to make about which football on TV to tune in to tomorrow night!

What's On TV On Wednesday 14th October

Those decisions don’t get any easier on Wednesday, though it’s probably fair to say that Manchester City vs Paris Saint-Germain will command plenty of attention (8pm BST)!

Fortunately, one team from England is playing at 5.45pm BST, with Liverpool’s teatime game away at LASK allowing dedicated viewers to squeeze two matches into their evening.

The Champions League’s second round of games also sees Aston Villa play Fenerbahçe at home (8pm BST), the previously referenced clash between Roma and Real Madrid, and one for the ‘football hipster’ in Bodø/Glimt vs Borussia Dortmund.

But for those with a predilection for EFL Championship action, West Ham United’s visit to newly-promoted Lincoln City may be more appealing (8pm BST) – or indeed the meeting of relative strugglers Portsmouth and Sheffield United at 7.45pm BST.

What's On TV On Thursday 15th October

A bombardment of Europa League and Conference League football is on the agenda this Thursday, with the continent’s second and third tier competitions battling for attention.

Every match is on TNT Sports and a total of six British teams are in action across two time slots – 5.45pm and 8pm BST.

Lyon vs Crystal Palace and Torreense vs Sunderland kick things off, before Bournemouth host Austrian side Sturm Graz later that evening.

There’s an eye-catching fixture between Benfica and Celtic, too, with fellow Scottish outfit Hearts hosting FC Nordsjælland at Tynecastle in the Conference League.

And Brighton begin their European campaign by welcoming Lithuanian minnows Kauno Žalgiris to the Amex Stadium – also at 8pm BST.

With heavyweights AC Milan visiting RB Salzburg (5.45pm BST) and Juventus travelling to Celta Vigo (8pm BST), there really is a staggering amount of football to get stuck into as the midweek action draws to a close on Thursday.
