Klopp leaves Woltemade and Bisseck off latest Germany squad list
Jürgen Klopp has named a Germany national team squad made up of 23 players for the upcoming Nations League fixtures in November, but has not included any Serie A players in his selections, which means no Nick Woltemade or Yann-Aurel Bisseck.
This is Klopp’s second camp in charge of the Germany national team after being appointed as the successor to Julian Nagelsmann back in July. Ahead of the extra-long September-October international break earlier this season, Klopp named an extra-large squad that was divided into two groups with 44 players in total given the chance to impress in front of the new head coach.
Klopp has whittled those 44 players down to a squad list of just 23 for the November international break, which will see Germany take on Serbia away (November 13) and the Netherlands at home (November 16) in the final pair of Nations League group stage fixtures.
No Serie A players have made the cut on this occasion. Woltemade and Bisseck were the two Serie A representatives in the Germany national team squad in September and October, but have not been selected for the November set of fixtures.
