Uli Hoeneß says Vincent Kompany will soon be back in the Bayern Munich dugout.
Speaking on the "Sonntags-Stammtisch" programme on BR, the Bayern patriarch said the Belgian is expected to "return in two or three weeks". Hoeneß clarified: "So he will be back on the bench after the international break."
Kompany collapsed in late October at the German record champions' training ground on Säbener Straße and was then taken to hospital. Meningeal irritation (meningism) was later diagnosed as the cause of the incident. The 40-year-old is now recovering at home. Assistant coach Aaron Danks has stood in for him since then.
