From England - Bayern Munich are thinking about Woltemade for next season

The German striker, who has just arrived on loan from Newcastle, is in Bayern’s sights

Bayern Munich are already planning for the future. The season has only just started, but the Bavarian club are thinking big and beginning to map out what they could, or rather will have to, do next summer so they can move early and spend the year assessing the most interesting profiles.

According to TalkSport in England, they have decided to keep a close eye on Nick Woltemade's season, with the player currently on loan at Juventus from Newcastle.

Juventus statement

Woltemade has joined Juventus on a straight loan, so everything will be back on the table at the end of the season, with the centre-forward still the property of Newcasatle.

Juventus confirmed the deal in these terms: "Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announce that they have reached an agreement with Newcastle United FC for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2027, of the registration rights of player Nick Woltemade for a fee of €2.8 million, plus ancillary costs of €0.8 million. That fee may be increased, during the term of the player’s sporting performance contract, by an amount not exceeding €0.5 million, upon the achievement of certain sporting objectives"

A signing in attack

Bayern Munich are planning for the future of their attack, and the board are considering bringing in a centre-forward with the profile not so much of a finisher as of an "attacking playmaker" to back up Harry Kane.

According to TalkSports, Woltemade would be a perfect fit for that idea. A return to Germany could also help the German talent, who came through in Germany but is struggling away from the Bundesliga, rediscover consistency and performances with the national team in mind as well.
