It's official. Harry Kane is the 2026 Ballon d'Or winner. It was the only appropriate ending to his fantastic campaign at Bayern Munich and England. A remarkable 73 goals for club and country is a record many modern-day strikers dream of.

In such a magical season, it feels impossible to narrow his masterpiece down to a few plays, but here are five of our favourite Harry Kane moments to celebrate his Ballon d'Or victory.

Season-opener goal fest against RB Leipzig

Well begun is half done! Harry Kane started the season off on the right foot. The Englishman completed a second-half hat-trick to sink RB Leipzig in a 6-0 hammering at the Allianz Arena.

He displayed exceptional composure for his first, taking out a defender before slotting it past the keeper. The second showed how prolific a finisher Kane is: a simple touch before curling the ball from the edge of the box to the bottom corner. The instinctive Harry Kane sealed the deal with a left-footed shot for a perfect night.

A Der Klassiker classic

Harry Kane is much more than a goalscorer. He impacted Bayern's playstyle in all three phases of the game. His performance against Borussia Dortmund in the first Der Klassiker of the season at the Allianz Arena was the greatest example of Kane's otherworldly playmaking from deep.

Kane regularly dropped back next to Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano to receive the ball, showing he isn't just your average box striker. He helped the pivot escape the press, direct traffic, and fire precise passes across the pitch to Michael Olise.

This was one of Harry Kane's most complete performances at Bayern Munich. And he also scored, but that's just business as usual for Harry Kane.

Evading two defenders for his goal against Atalanta

One of the most ridiculous goals you will ever see. Harry Kane was consistently man-marked and double-teamed by defenders all season, but he always found a way to get on the scoresheet. His second goal against Atalanta in Bayern's 4-1 rout was the best answer to how to stop Harry Kane. You can't!

Two Atalanta defenders closing in, Kane somehow spun out of trouble, kept his balance, and fired a thunderous strike into the top bin when most strikers in the world would've turned it over.

That goal was one of eight goals he scored in last year's Champions League knockout stages.

The outrageous assist to Luis Diaz against PSG

You have probably seen Diaz's reaction to this pass a thousand times on social media, and it's the same reaction of every Bayern fan as well.

Harry Kane received the ball near midfield and delivered an inch-perfect ball right over Marquinhos' reach, where only Luis Diaz could trap it in and score the goal. That pass was easily one of Kane's best in his career, showing he is, without a doubt, the best passing number 9 ever, and that's not an exaggeration.

Kane looks like an American football quarterback the way he kept his cool with pressure coming from all sides, standing and delivering to every corner of the final third.

DFB-Pokal final hat-trick against Stuttgart

Talking about a big-time player in a big-time moment, nothing shows Harry Kane's clutchness for Bayern more than the hat-trick in the DFB-Pokal final.

He has scored in every round of the competition for Bayern, and he did it once again with a close-range header off Michael Olise's assist to open the scoreline.

In the 80th minute, Kane rattled the woodwork from a long shot but kept fighting for a scoring opportunity. He received the second ball, spun away from a defender, and scored his second. A penalty in the dying minute was the cherry on top and a final blow to Stuttgart.

Kane's three goals won Bayern their first DFB-Pokal in six years and completed the domestic treble.
