Bayern Munich move to secure Olise, and Real Madrid await the outcome of negotiations
The Bavarian giant has begun negotiations early
Bayern Munich have opened talks to extend the contract of their in-form French star Michael Olise, a move that threatens Real Madrid's ambitions.
According to "Sky Sport Germany", Bayern are moving pre-emptively to tie down the 24-year-old, with the first exploratory talks already held between the two parties.

Olise's current deal runs until 2029 and carries no release clause. Real Madrid, who are watching the situation closely, believe he will end up extending his ties with Bayern, according to the report.
"Sky" added that a switch to Real Madrid is the only thing that could scupper Bayern's plans to keep the player long term. But unless the Spanish club make concrete moves, he looks very likely to stay with the German champions.
The new contract could make Olise Bayern's highest earner, pushing him past Jamal Musiala. And the club won't be forced to consider a sale next summer, unless the renewal talks collapse.
Olise has enjoyed a meteoric rise since joining Bayern in the summer of 2024, arriving from Crystal Palace for 60 million euros.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, a member of the Bavarian club's supervisory board, backed both Olise and team-mate Harry Kane to stay. He told German website "ran": "Both intend to stay a long time at Bayern."
He added: "I hope, in fact I am very convinced, that Harry will renew his contract soon. And that Michael will be next."
