Bayern Munich 7-0 Union Berlin: Top performers from resounding victory
After a quiet couple of game weeks in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich flexed their attacking prowess against Union Berlin on Friday. The Bavarian club hammered seven goals past Union Berlin to ensure that they remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga ahead of the first international break of the season.
Bayern scored early in the first half through Jamal Musiala to set the tone for the game. Goals from Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Ismael Saibari ensured that Union Berlin never had a chance to recover and challenge the defending Champions.

The English forward scored his second goal early in the second half. Kane headed the ball past the goalkeeper after a peach of a cross was delivered by Olise from the right flank. The 33-year-old striker had a shot accuracy of 100% against Union Berlin. He also knitted the play well in the final third to make Die Roten more threatening in the final third.
Michael Olise
Olise continued his scintillating scoring form by grabbing his first hat-trick in Bayern colours. The French forward was a menace in the final third, causing Union Berlin all sorts of problems. He won the penalty for Bayern’s second goal.
The 24-year-old scored an incredible goal at the end of the first half to make it 3-0 for the hosts. Olise hammered the ball from the edge of the box after a neat lay-off from Musiala.
The French winger provided the assist for Kane’s second goal through a peach of a cross from the right flank. Olise was creating chances and scoring goals for fun against a hapless Union Berlin side.
Tom Bischof found Olise with a great long pass in the 73rd minute. Olise killed the pass with an incredible touch and rounded off the goalkeeper before slotting the ball in the net. Two minutes later, Olise scored a screamer from outside of the box after a one-two pass with Tom Bischof.
Olise was the best player on the pitch, scoring a hat trick and grabbing an assist. He created two chances and retained the ball brilliantly by completing 85% of his passes in the game. The French forward was in an unstoppable mood on Friday evening.
Alphonso Davies
The final name on this list is a defender in the form of Alphonso Davies. The Canadian left-back is slowly and steadily getting back to his best. His performance against Union Berlin highlights the amount of effort he has put in during the summer after a frustrating last season.
Davies was at his creative best on the left flank against Union Berlin. He created five chances in the game. The Canadian squared the ball at the right time to find Musiala for Die Roten’s opening goal. He also played the final pass for Ismael Saibari’s first goal for Bayern in the second half.
Along with being a creative asset, Davies was also very secure on the ball, completing 94% of his passes against Union Berlin. The Canadian full-back was astute defensively, making seven recoveries and winning the majority of his duels against the opposition.
The Bavarian faithful will hope to see Davies build on this performance and become the mainstay in the team.
