  • Swindon are chasing a fourth home win in a row when they welcome Crewe to the County Ground.

  • Grimsby put their ten-game unbeaten run in League Two on the line when they travel to take on Bristol Rovers.

  • Anything other than a victory for Bromley at relegation candidates Harrogate would be seen as a significant surprise.

League Two serves up another 11-game fixture slate on Saturday, just days after running through a taxing midweek programme that involved every team in the division.

Fleetwood’s meeting with Barrow and Swindon’s clash with Crewe will kick off at lunchtime before the day’s other nine fixture follow at 3 pm.

Ahead of the drama, we’ve performed a game-by-game analysis to come up with predictions for all 11 matches from League Two on Saturday, 21 February. Check them out below.

Fleetwood Town vs Barrow (Saturday, 12:30 pm)

Fleetwood took the lead early at Crewe in midweek through Mark Helm and held firm to upset their hosts in a 1-0 triumph, though that was the fourth game in a row where Town scored only once. A solitary strike might be all that’s needed to beat a Barrow outfit that lost for the first time under new boss Dino Maamria against Harrogate on Tuesday. The visitors have lost seven of their last eight league assignments overall and more disappointment might await here.

Score prediction: Fleetwood Town 1-0 Barrow

Swindon vs Crewe (Saturday, 12:30 pm)

Swindon bounced back from their shock reverse at Shrewsbury in the right manner in midweek, coming from behind to beat Barnet 2-1. Back at the County Ground, where the Robins have won three times on the spin, Swindon will expect to triumph again against Crewe. The visitors were well beaten by Swindon in August (0-3) and that was on home soil, so they should toil again in the return fixture.

Score prediction: Swindon 2-0 Crewe

Accrington vs Shrewsbury (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Accrington showed real grit to win at Tranmere (1-0) on Tuesday despite finishing the game with nine men, though they are meeting Shrewsbury at an inopportune time. The visitors are playing arguably their best football of the campaign and have won three games in a row. Two of those victories came against Swindon (2nd) and Notts County (5th), and Salop could counter-attack their way to something positive again in this one.

Score prediction: Accrington 1-2 Shrewsbury

Bristol Rovers vs Grimsby (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Bristol Rovers couldn’t make the most of their 18 shots against Oldham (0-2) in midweek and subsequently lost for the time game running. Grimsby meanwhile, are now ten games unbeaten in League Two, though they really should have toppled Walsall (2-2) in midweek, having played the entire second half with a one-man advantage. Town have drawn three of their last five games overall, so a point might have to satisfy both teams here.

Score prediction: Bristol Rovers 2-2 Grimsby

Cheltenham vs Salford City (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Cheltenham earned an unexpected, but thoroughly deserved share of the spoils at leaders Bromley in midweek, which should equip them with fresh confidence ahead of the visit of playoff hopefuls Salford on Saturday. City lost 3-1 to bottom club Newport on Tuesday, which was their third loss in four League Two fixtures. Something looks off with Salford at present and they could slip up again at EV Charger Points Stadium.

Score prediction: Cheltenham 1-0 Salford City

Colchester vs Barnet (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Colchester picked up a more than credible point at third-place Cambridge on Tuesday, though they will be targeting three points when they host Barnet. United have won four of their last five games at the JobServe Community Stadium, and though Barnet can be a tough nut to crack on their travels, momentum is with Colchester here.

Score prediction: Colchester 2-1 Barnet

Crawley Town vs Chesterfield (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

With keeper Jakob Chapman influential, Crawley squeezed a point out of their trip to playoff contenders MK Dons (0-0) on Tuesday, though, they’ve now failed to score in each of their last four matches. Chesterfield have notched 1+ goals in each of their last six games however, picking up an average of 1.83 points per game along the way, and they can edge their hosts on Saturday.

Score prediction: Crawley Town 0-1 Chesterfield

Gillingham vs Oldham (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Gillingham’s issues in the final third were laid bare again on Tuesday when they huffed and puffed in a 1-0 loss at Chesterfield. The Gills have blanked in three of their last four assignments, though all three of those scoreless games were on the road. At home, Gillingham have lost just once in eight matches, with their only defeat during that stretch coming against leaders Bromley. Gillingham can make the most of home advantage again when Oldham visit.

Score prediction: Gillingham 1-0 Oldham

Harrogate Town vs Bromley

Harrogate are teeing themselves up for a late, dramatic survival push and their 1-0 win at Barrow in midweek brought their recent points tally up to seven from their last three games. However, a date with title favourites Bromley could bring them back down to earth. The table toppers haven’t lost a league fixture since November and they are usually ruthless against the division’s bottom feeders.

Score prediction: Harrogate Town 1-3 Bromley

Newport County vs Cambridge Utd (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Bottom club Newport rekindled their survival hopes with a shock 3-1 win at Salford on Tuesday, and were three goals to the good there by the hour mark. Incredibly, County scored from each of their three shots on target in midweek however, giving the result a freakish look. They are unlikely to be quite as fortunate against a Cambridge side that has lost just once in 18 league games. The visitors have won four of their last five away tests and they can triumph again in Wales.

Score prediction: Newport County 1-3 Cambridge Utd

Notts Co vs Tranmere (Saturday, 15:00 pm)

Notts County’s seven-game unbeaten surge came to an end at Shrewsbury (0-1) in midweek, though they have a chance to rebound at home to struggling Tranmere. Visiting Rovers aimed just two of their 18 attempts on target in their 1-0 loss to Accrington on Tuesday, and fluffed their lines against their nine-man opponents. Tranmere lack the punch to trouble their hosts in this one.

Score prediction: Notts Co 2-0 Tranmere
