Finn Allen's undefeated 72* ensured plain sailing for Trent Rockets as they usurped Manchester Super Giants by six wickets and 13 balls to spare.
The Kiwi opener blasted his half-century off just 23 balls, and handy contributions from Rockets skipper Sam Billings (26 off 19) and Mitchell Santner (24 off 17) catapulted the Midlands outfit to their third straight win, which also takes them to the summit of the Men's Hundred.
Earlier, Craig Overton executed a dream spell of 20-10-23-3, breaking the back of the fabulous four of the Super Giants top order.
Jos Buttler and Leus du Plooy amassed an 81-run partnership to take the home side to 137-3, with the former crossing his third consecutive 50+ score. But, that was never going to be enough. Many totals in world cricket aren't, when Allen is on song.

Finnsanity hits Old Trafford
Gus Atkinson handed MSG the dream start, castling Ben Duckett off just the second ball of the innings when the opener tried to ramp him above short fine leg. And seven balls later, Sonny Baker trapped Tom Banton's pull shot with pace and extra bounce to leave the Rockets reeling at 14-2.
At that stage, and even up until 80% of the powerplay was completed, Allen was starved off the strike. He then broke the shackles soon with Billings; the pair adding 74 from just 40 balls to all but put the match beyond MSG's reach.
Aiden Markram rallied his pace battery all around, but with 11 fours and two stylish sixes, Allen never allowed the Super Giants to get a sniff.
For the best part of his knock, the 27-year-old was struggling with cramps in his calf and hamstring, but that didn't stop him from peppering the ball around all parts.
"Both my calves and hammy were going, old age is getting me," joked Allen. "Everything's all good. We talked about being on the road and how challenging it was going to be, and if we could get a few wins to go back home with, it would be really good for pushing our finals opportunities."
Super Giants stopped in their tracks by Overton
Another player who never let MSG settle was Overton, who thrived on the extra bounce and zip on offer under the setting sun at Old Trafford.
Markram and Tim Seifert posted 38 in the powerplay, before Overton hit that unerring hard length that the latter mishit to mid on. The Super Giants skipper, meanwhile, looked to have gotten his eye in for the second time running, but he too, sliced a similar length delivery to Lewis Gregory.
Markram fell for 28 (24), underpinning MSG's frailties at the top despite having one of the most star-studded batting lineups. Across the four games they have played, they average 36 in the powerplay, with Buttler doing the bulk of the heavy lifting.
Klaasen's stay was brief too. Facing only his second ball from Overton, he pulled a short delivery straight to deep square.
What next for both teams?
Both sides return to action on Sunday. Victorious Rockets will return home and welcome Sunrisers Leeds, whereas Manchester Super Giants will have to prevent three defeats on the trot at the Kia Oval, versus MI London.
