Frank Lampard has got Coventry in play-off contention in the Championship ahead of a big game on Monday at relegation-threatened Hull

- Table-topping Leeds entertain Preston
- Relegation rivals Portsmouth and Derby face off at Fratton Park
- Fast-finishing Coventry head to Hull

With only five games to go, things are heating up in the Championship at both ends of the table and there is sure to be plenty of drama as the desperation for points intensifies.

Second-placed Burnley start the action off this week when they put their title hopes on the line at home to Norwich on Friday evening, while there is a relegation six-pointer between Stoke and Cardiff on Saturday.

We’ve got a correct score prediction for all 12 games, concluding with high-flying Coventry’s trip to struggling Hull on Monday evening.

Burnley vs Norwich (Friday, 8pm)

Unbeaten in 28 league games and behind leaders Leeds on only goal difference, Burnley should have the measure of Norwich, who have won only two of their last 12.

The Clarets have conceded only five times in 20 league matches at Turf Moor as their rock-solid defence has formed the basis of their title challenge.

Score prediction: Burnley 2-0 Norwich

Leeds vs Preston (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Leeds snapped a three-game drawing run with a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough to regain top spot on Tuesday and next they can outclass mid-table Preston, who have lost three of their last four on the road.

Plymouth vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Sheffield United have slipped to third in the Championship title race following back-to-back 1-0 defeats against Oxford and Millwall, but they may edge past rock-bottom Plymouth.

The Blades have won eight of their last 10 away games, four of which ended 1-0.

Score prediction: Plymouth 0-1 Sheffield United

Cardiff City vs Stoke City (Saturday, 3pm)

Third-bottom Cardiff have drawn their last three league games and may have to settle for another point when they face relegation rivals Stoke, who have lost only one of their last five.

Score prediction: Cardiff 1-1 Stoke

Luton vs Blackburn (Saturday, 3pm)

Luton are finding some form as they bid to avoid successive relegations and they can take their unbeaten run to six with victory over Blackburn, who have lost four straight away games.

Score prediction: Luton 2-1 Blackburn

Millwall vs Middlesbrough (Saturday, 3pm)

Millwall have renewed their play-off hopes with three wins in four, which included a fine 1-0 victory at title-chasing Sheffield United last time out.

They may have the beating of Middlesbrough this weekend, too, as the visitors have often struggled on their Championship travels this term.

Score prediction: Millwall 1-0 Middlesbrough

Portsmouth vs Derby County (Saturday, 3pm)

Fratton Park has been a fortress this season for Portsmouth, who have won 10 of their last 14 home fixtures. They may hold the aces against a Derby side that have lost eight of their last 11 on the road.

Score prediction: Portsmouth 2-1 Derby

QPR vs Bristol City (Saturday, 3pm)

Bristol City are in the play-off places following a run of only one defeat in 10, but QPR are tough to beat at home and are tipped to play their part in a high-scoring draw.

Score prediction: QPR 2-2 Bristol City

Sheffield Wednesday vs Oxford (Saturday, 3pm)

Off-field troubles are clouding what has been a decent season for Sheffield Wednesday and, having failed to win in seven at Hillsborough, they may be vulnerable with a relegation-threatened Oxford United side chasing a third success in five.

Sunderland vs Swansea (Saturday, 3pm)

Sunderland have lost only one of their 20 home league games this season but they have drawn seven times and may be frustrated by Swansea, who have taken seven points from three matches to eliminate any relegation fears.

Score prediction: Sunderland 1-1 Swansea

West Brom vs Watford (Saturday, 3pm)

A five-game winless run has seen West Brom slip out of the play-off places but they have had a tricky set of fixtures and can respond by beating Watford, who have taken only 17 points from their 20 away matches this season.

Score prediction: West Brom 2-1 Watford

Hull City vs Coventry City (Monday, 8pm)

A sequence of 11 wins in 15 league games has Coventry in play-off contention and their strong finish can continue with victory at Hull, who are only two points clear of relegation.

Score prediction: Hull 1-3 Coventry.
