One of boxing’s most unpredictable heavyweights, Tyson Fury and a master of verbal jabs and mental mind games, will step into the ring for a collision with Arslankbek Makhmudov, a knockout machine whose opponents rarely make it past the early rounds live on Netflix April 11th.
The spectacular co-main event features an amazing undercard including Conor “The Destroyer” Benn in a clash with Regis “Rougarou” Prograis. The main card also features Jeamie Tshikeva V Richards Riakporhe and Frzaer Clarke V Justis Huni.
Tyson confirmed his comeback in February, saying in a press conference “I came back to make boxing great again. Boxing is at its maximum potential when Tyson Fury is actively fighting. I bring a circus. I bring an entourage. I bring entertainment. I bring action. I bring cameras. I bring everything to the sport.”
Makhmudov knows he’s up against one of boxing’s all-time greats but he’s got his own ambitions and intends to come out victorious despite being the underdog. “My parents and uncle told me when I was nine years old, ‘You’re going to be champion of the world,’” Makhmudov recalls. “That’s my goal. I’m looking forward to April 11.”
Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) remains one of boxing’s most unique heavyweights a 6ft 9in technician with elite movement, fast hands and a proven track record against the very best, including Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.
But this is no routine return…!
Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs) brings serious danger. Known for his forward pressure and brutal knockout power, he’s built a reputation as a fighter who doesn’t waste time or punches.
Both fighters respect each other’s skills but both are expecting to achieve big knockouts…it could go either way!
