Haaland’s City debut
Erling Haaland’s arrival in Manchester has City fans dreaming of another successful season and the Norwegian is set to make his league debut at the London Stadium on August 7 in a 4.30pm kick-off.
The hotshot, 21, set the footballing world alight during his time at Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland bagged a jaw-dropping 86 strikes in 89 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit, netting an astonishing 29 goals in 30 outings last term.

Ten Hag’s league debut as United boss
A new era is dawning at Manchester United as Erik ten Hag takes the helm and he will face Brighton at Old Trafford in his first game in charge on August 7 at 2pm.
The Dutchman is aiming to implement his offensive and free-flowing style to transform the Red Devils, who suffered a disappointing 2021-22.
Ten Hag, 52, certainly has a job on his hands as United finished sixth and recorded their lowest points total (58) of the Premier League era.
But the former Ajax chief boasts an abundance of talent to work with and has the opportunity to become a fan favourite at the Theatre of Dreams by getting the fallen giants back in the Champions League.
Forest’s return to the top flight
Nottingham Forest are back in the Premier League for the first time in 23 years and will be raring to go against Newcastle at St James' Park on August 6 in a 3pm encounter.
Forest finished fourth in the Championship last season but went up via the play-offs after beating Huddersfield 1-0 at Wembley.
Steve Cooper pulled off a miracle by leading his side from bottom of the table to the promised land and will look to follow in the footsteps of Brentford, who avoided the drop in their first Premier League campaign in 2021-22.
Forest's return to the English top flight has been long overdue considering their history and the club's fans will relish what promises to be a rollercoaster ride.
New-look Spurs
Tottenham begin their campaign at home to Southampton on August 6 at 3pm.
Antonio Conte took charge of Spurs last November after they sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.
The North Londoners were off the pace for a top-four finish for the majority of the season but still managed to secure a Champions League spot.
Conte worked his magic in a short period of time and masterminded his side's strong finish, with eight wins from their last 11 games.
He will have his first pre-season with the players behind him come the big kick-off and Spurs are ready to splash the cash ahead of rubbing shoulders with European football's big boys.
If Conte's men can continue where they left off and make a fast start against the Saints, the Italian will be determined to ensure they remain a force to be reckoned with.
