Henry till N Dhir
Six runs. SIX! Matt Henry to Naman Dhir. Back of a length, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, top edge in the air uncontrolled over fine leg for 6 runs. Naman Dhir hits the winning runs as India seal a thrilling four-wicket victory. The Indian openers laid the perfect foundation, with Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma smashing 93 runs in just 5.5 overs. However, New Zealand's spinners fought back brilliantly, picking up four quick wickets to bring the game back into balance. Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel steadied the innings before Naman Dhir finished the job with a brilliant unbeaten 42. The Blackcaps fought hard, but the runs conceded in the powerplay proved costly. India take an early lead with a memorable win! Sanju Samson is the Player of the Match.
