England's batting unit delivered a strong overall performance, led by Harry Brook, who played a magnificent knock of 91 runs. Unfortunately, he fell just short of a well-deserved century. Joe Root provided excellent support with a valuable 66 runs, helping England build a commanding lead of 238 runs. Pakistan, however, had plenty of positives with the ball. Spinner Ali Usman was the standout performer, claiming a brilliant five-wicket haul, while Khurram Shahzad chipped in with three important wickets. England are now in a dominant position.
