Fulham's visit to Sheffield United is one of eight games taking place in the Premier League on Saturday alone, while there are also weekend encounters in Germany, Italy, France and Spain.

Saturday, 2.30pm

Few teams across Europe have had a bigger fall from grace this season than Union Berlin.

The capital club finished fourth in last term's Bundesliga but are only just hovering above the drop zone this season with 28 points from 26 matches.

It has been a forgettable season and they should be opposed against Eintracht Frankfurt, who are fighting for the European spots and have won two of their last three games.

Saturday, 3pm

It would take a miracle to save Sheffield United from relegation and they could be set for another defeat at home to Fulham.

The Cottagers have been better at home than away this season but beat Tottenham 3-0 before the international break and Sheffield United have lost their last four home games 5-2, 5-0, 5-0 and 6-0.

Saturday, 7.45pm

AC Milan are on course to finish as best of the rest in Serie A and can tighten their grasp on second spot with a win over Fiorentina.

The Rossoneri have won 19 of their 29 league fixtures this term and are on a five-game winning run in all competitions.

As for La Viola, they have posted just one win in their last four games.

Sunday, 2pm

Clermont Foot claimed a rare win over Le Havre before the international break but that 2-1 triumph came at a cost as winger Elbasan Rashani was sent off and they are unlikely to follow up with victory against Toulouse.

Toulouse were edged 3-2 by Lyon last time out but have won three of their last five games in Ligue 1, beating Monaco, Lille and Nice.

Sunday, 5.30pm

Real Sociedad got their top-six pursuit in La Liga back on track before the international break with successive wins over Granada and Cadiz and they can make it three wins on the spin against Alaves.

Alaves are 14 points worse off than Real Sociedad in La Liga and have scored just two goals in their last five La Liga outings.
