Special credit goes to Ravichandran Ashwin, who got nine wickets in his 100th Test match. Joe Root played brilliantly, but unfortunately he couldn't get support from the other end to put up a fight. Kuldeep Yadav is the Player of the Match for his exceptional bowling performance. Yashasvi Jaiswal is the Player of the Series.
