The Sydney Sixers got off to a strong start with their opening partnership passing 50. Amelia Kerr top scored with 42 off 29 to keep the Sixers in with a chance late in the innings. Alana King was magnificent and led the Scorchers bowling attack, taking 3 for 17 off her 4 overs to help restrict the Sixers to 172 from their 20 overs. Beth Mooney has claimed Player of the Match honours once again thanks to her beautiful knock with the bat.
