The Australian bowling attack was clinical, consistently striking at regular intervals and never allowing the opposition to build partnerships. Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa were particularly impressive, each taking four wickets between them and putting the Irish batting line-up under relentless pressure. Nathan Ellis is the Player of the Match.
