Pathum Nissanka's maiden T20I Hundred looked to be powering Sri Lanka to victory, but in a thrilling conclusion the match was tied. Kusal Perera gave great support with his 58 before Dasun Shanaka's late cameo almost took Sri Lanka to the line. Arshdeep Singh then bowled a superb super over, only conceding two runs, leaving captain Suryakumar Yadav the simple job of scoring the required three off the first ball, ensuring India go into Sunday's final against Pakistan unbeaten in the tournament. Pathum Nissanka is the Player of the Match for his outstanding knock.
