With all the momentum going into the second innings, the Hurricanes made light work of Brisbane's top order, taking three valuable powerplay wickets. Chasing such an enormous target, the Heat never recovered and eventually were all out for 105. Hobart retain their title of T20 Spring Challenge champions, with captain Elyse Villani collecting the Player of the Match award for a spectacular innings which set up the win for her side. Tournament leading run-scorer Maddie Penna will share the honour of Player of the Tournament with Maitlan Brown, who took 7 wickets alongside some crucial batting cameos for the Sixers.
