David Moyes appears to have turned a corner with West Ham having won four games on the bounce

- West Ham have won four games in succession in all competitions
- Crystal Palace have lost four of their last five games in the Premier League
- Recommended bet: West Ham to win

After qualifying for the knockout stages of the Europa League, West Ham return to Premier League action on Sunday with a home fixture against Crystal Palace.

The Hammers beat Serbian side Backa Topola 1-0 on Thursday, and are now planning ahead for the next round after a successful European campaign so far.

While spirits are high in the West Ham camp, Palace are struggling to pick up results as injuries continue to cause havoc.

Team news

David Moyes is still unable to call upon the services of Michail Antonio, while Jarrod Bowen will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

Vladimir Coufal, Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus played no part against Backa Topola, but may return if they can prove their fitness.

Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson lost Eberechi Eze and Cheick Doucoure to injury last week, with the latter suffering a serious Achilles problem.

That duo have joined Dean Henderson, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Rob Holding in the treatment room, while James Tomkins is also a doubt due to a calf issue.

The stats

Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace have won only one of their last six matches, and that was against bottom-side Burnley

After a run of four defeats in five matches, West Ham appear to be back to their best after four successive wins in all competitions.

Wins over Olympiakos and Backa Topola in the Europa League came either side of victories over Nottingham Forest and Burnley in the Premier League.

At home, they have won three on the spin, scoring seven goals in the process.

Crystal Palace have lost four in five games in the Premier League, while it is now just two wins in 10 in all competitions under Hodgson.

The Eagles have at least won two of their last four away games in the Premier League.

Prediction

The Eagles' form is hard to ignore ahead of their trip across the capital, even if West Ham only played a few days ago in the Europa League.

Even though West Ham have been far from convincing, they have won four in a row in all competitions, and they face a depleted Palace on home soil.

Palace desperately need some of their first-team stars back, and until they return, they are likely to continue to struggle.
