As we get to the crunch stage of the season, there are a number of factors to consider when selecting your football accumulator.

Here are five options to consider this coming weekend across Europe’s top five leagues.

Saturday 1:00pm

With just nine games left of the LaLiga season, Real Betis are in the hunt for a top-four finish and a win on Saturday would be crucial to their Champions League hopes.

Betis are 10 points ahead of their hosts Osasuna and go into Saturday’s clash have lost just one of their last five LaLiga games on the road — that was in this month’s clash at Atletico Madrid.

The home team are stuck in mid-table with nothing really to play for and having won just one of their last six league outings.

Betis won the reverse fixture 1-0 back in August and ran out 3-1 victors when the two teams met at the Estadio El Sadar.

Saturday 2.30pm

Hoffenheim have moved themselves five points clear of the Bundesliga bottom three after winning three and drawn one of their last four matches.

The draw came in last week’s 1-1 draw at Bayern Munich and have had the better of recent fixtures against Cologne, with Der Blau unbeaten in their last 13 league meetings.

The visitors have won just one of their last eight Bundesliga games and are now just three points ahead of their opponents.

Andrej Kramaric has been an influential figure for Hoffenheim, bagging four goals in the last four games and nine across the season.

Saturday 3.00pm

Roy Hodgson has led Crystal Palace to three successive wins

It is three wins a row since Roy Hodgson returned to the Crystal Palace hot seat and the Eagles could all but secure their Premier League status with another three points on Saturday.

Hodgson looks to have taken the breaks off the Palace attackers and they have responded with nine goals in those three victories.

In stark contrast, Everton have not won any of their last four league games and a home defeat to out-of-sorts Fulham was a major blow last weekend.

The Toffees have lost on their last two visits to Selhurst Park, including a 3-1 defeat in last season’s Premier League clash.

Saturday 5.00pm

Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio are the in-form team in the Italian top flight, having won seven and drawn one of their last eight league games.

That run has seen them move into second and pretty much confirm Champions League football next season, as they go in search of a fourth consecutive home win.

The Rome giants face a Torino team that have failed to win any of their last four games and are another team with nothing to play for this season.

Midfielder Mattia Zaccagni has been in good goalscoring form, with two goals in the last four Serie A matches.

Sunday 2.00pm

Clermont have won their last three games to move them up to 11th in Ligue 1 and can leapfrog Nice with a victory on Sunday.

Pascal Gastien’s men have won and scored four penalties across their last three games, with Grejohn Kyei scoring three of those spot kicks.

With their European hopes now in tatters, Nice have failed to win any of their last six Ligue 1 games and have lost the last two without scoring.
