There are still plenty of issues to be settled in the top divisions of Europe, and we have looked at this weekend's matches and have two games from Spain's La Liga, two from Italy's Serie A and one from France's Ligue 1 for a five-fold.

Saturday, 3.15pm

Athletic Bilbao still have their eyes on a place in next season's Europa Conference League, and this looks like a good chance for them to bounce back from the disappointment of last week's 5-1 loss at Villarreal.

Athletic have failed to win any of their last four games, but visitors Celta Vigo have an even more dismal record.

Celta have lost five of their last six La Liga matches, and the only victory in that spell was against struggling Espanyol, so despite the fact their chances of being relegated are remote, this could prove a difficult trip, so back the home team.

Saturday, 4pm

Nantes have failed to score in their last three matches and not won any of their previous 12, so Montpellier should be able to take something from their trip north.

Their hosts have won just one of their last nine games at home, and Montpellier have put in a couple of notable performances in their previous two away matches.

They won 4-0 at Monaco and were then 4-1 up before losing a nine-goal thriller to a penalty ten minutes into injury time at Lyon, so a trip to Nantes should hold few fears.

These two are desperate for points to avoid falling into Serie B, but it should be home side Lecce who eases their regulation fears on Sunday morning.

Spezia beat Milan last week, but their opponents will have had one eye on the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Inter, and it is worth noting this week's visitors have won just twice on their travels all season.

Lecce were unfortunate to be pegged back by a late goal at Lazio when it seemed they were on course for three crucial points, but they should still take plenty of confidence from that performance at the Stadio Olimpico, which gives them something to build on in the final weeks of the campaign.

Sunday, 1pm

Espanyol look set to be playing in the Segunda next season, and they have conceded 12 goals in their last four matches.

Six straight defeats on the road does not bode well for their visit to Rayo Vallecano, especially as they have conceded at least twice in seven of their last eight away games.

Vallecano have been inconsistent lately, but they have won their last three home matches, which included a success over champions Barcelona, so they can extend that record.

Sunday, 7.45pm

Udinese are unbeaten in eight home games, but that record looks vulnerable against Champions League-chasing Lazio.

The home side have collected just three wins in that run, and it is worth noting two of those wins came over Cremonese and Sampdoria, the bottom two teams in Serie A, so it is easy to get carried away.

The Eagles have lost their last two away games at Inter and Milan, but they kept five straight clean sheets on the road before that, and this is not a test of that standard.
