- Leicester have won their last three games in in all competitions
- Watford have failed to score in any of their last three games
- Recommended bet: Leicester to win to nil

Leicester can take another big step towards an instant return to the Premier League, if they can beat Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The Foxes are currently 11 points clear at the top of the Championship, as Enzo Maresca’s men look to complete a league double over the Hornets.

Team news

Goalkeeper Dan Bachmann looks set to miss the clash, after leaving the field with what looked like concussion in Watford’s midweek FA Cup defeat to Southampton.

Jeremy Ngakia is back in training after a long absence with an ankle injury, but it will be another couple of weeks before the right-back will return to action.

Leicester are still without Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, as Nigeria prepare for Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final.

Jannik Vestergaard faces a late fitness test to see if he can play some part at Vicarage Road, after suffering a muscle problem in the win at Stoke last weekend.

The stats

Valerien Ismael's Watford have hit the buffers with just one win in their last seven Championship games

Watford have won just one of their last seven Championship games.

Leicester have scored in all of their last eight away matches in all competitions.

The Foxes are a massive 31 points ahead of their opponents and have scored 64 goals compared to Watford’s tally of 45.

The Hornets have lost three of their last four Championship home games.

The visitors have scored 11 goals in their last three matches in all competitions, against Birmingham, Swansea and Stoke.

Leicester are unbeaten in the last six meetings between the two teams, winning five.

Prediction

It is hard to see anything other than another Leicester victory, especially when considering both teams’ recent form.

Not only do the visitors head to Vicarage Road full of confidence, but they have also had a full week’s rest while Watford lost 3-0 to Southampton in their fourth-round FA Cup replay on Tuesday.

While Leicester have had little problem finding the net in recent weeks, the same cannot be said of Watford, who have not scored in any of their last three games.

Valerien Ismael saw his team have 62 percent possession and 17 shots, but still fail to score in their 0-1 Championship defeat to Cardiff last Saturday.

Maresca’s league leaders won the reverse fixture in November 2-0, thanks to two second-half goals from Jamie Vardy.

The former England international has an impressive record against Watford, scoring eight goals in the last seven meetings between the two sides and Vardy is 6/4 to score at anytime with LiveScore Bet on Saturday.

Whether Vardy proves to be the match winner remains to be seen but Leicester will expect to at least maintain their 11-point lead at the top of the standings regardless.
